Communication and collaboration

Support service

User management
  • Creation, editing and removal of users on the platform.
  • Provides the option to associate roles to users (administrator, teacher, student, relative).
  • Simple or complex user searches. User status (active, inactive, etc…).
User group management
  • Creation, editing and removal of user groups on the platform.
  • Provides the option to organise users in groups or subgroups.
Teaching resource repository
Creation and management of public and private resources for teachers.
Types of resources:

  • Classroom: physical classroom teaching resources.
  • SCORM/AICC: a SCORM/AICC resource, created under SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or AICC standards, automatically monitors student progress.
  • Conference: A web conference resource is similar to a classroom resource, but it is used remotely, at a distance, by means of a conference that is broadcast over the Internet.
  • Online exam: An exam resource is a SCORM package composed of several questions which make up an exam.
  • Online survey: A survey resource consists of a SCORM package containing a set of questions without a defined response.
  • Link: A link resource consists of a link that the students must visit.
  • File: A file resource involves the students downloading the file.
  • Task: A task resource is a type of resource that enables the user to assign a specific task to the students.

These resources can be organised into categories (compulsory activities, units, exams, support activities, etc…) and in folders so as to facilitate their organisation and management.

Class management
  • Creation, editing and removal of classes on the platform.
  • Assignment of participants to the class (students, teachers).
  • Provides the option to add teaching resources from the public repository or from teachers’ private repositories.
  • Calendar and timetable enabling existing class assignments and events to be viewed temporarily.
  • Forum allowing communication between teachers and students.
  • Library for compiling and organising all the related material that may be required.
General calendar
  • General calendar enabling the creation of events open to all or only to a specific group of users.
Reports and Notifications
  • Notification system via email and the system’s internal message service.
  • Full exploitation of the information via reports, which are exportable to PDF and Excel format.
  • Automated generation of progress reports, general reports and detailed reports.
Adaptation to the school structure
  • Creation, editing and removal of evaluation periods.
  • Provides the option to configure qualitative and quantitative marks for evaluations.
  • Creation, organisation and reservation of the school’s physical rooms (science laboratories, assembly hall, etc…)
  • Creation and management of virtual rooms for carrying out teaching activities by video conference.
  • Option to create customised school fields on the forms that exist on the platform.
Integrated with distribution and digital content sale systems
Learning Fruit Central includes the module to access content according to the Marsupial protocol, enabling:

  • Access to publishing content structured according to this standard, ISBN, units and activities.
  • Content tracking via Remote SCORM.
  • Content tracking via Marsupial web content (under development).
  • Management of access licences for the different editorial content, using maximum detail: user-content-licence.

It also implements additional protocols for automating licence management. This way, by indicating the licence management service it is possible to automate the downloading and assignment of licences, without the need for administrative work by the school.

For those organisations which do not have suitable people or profiles for managing training via Learning Coffee Central, we offer our customers an administration service.

Basic package

The best option for managing your platform in the early stages of its incorporation in the organisation; since the first three months are usually a period of high administrative volume. the basic administration package will help you launch your platform quickly and effectively, whilst enabling your training managers to acquire the necessary knowledge and experience to carry out these tasks on their own.

  • Validity: 3 months
  • Nº of hours under the service: 100 hours
Annual package

The best option for those organisations which do not have people to perform the administration. This option enables you to obtain high profitability and cost savings in the long-term.

  • Validity: 12 months
  • Nº of hours under the service: Unlimited
Per hour package

This package is designed to achieve high flexibility in organisations where the volume of administrative work is highly variable. This option enables you to contract packages of hours which you can consume as you need to within the time limits, taking out more and renewing them at any time in order to extend their validity.

  • 25 hour package: valid for three months
  • 50 hour package: valid for six months
  • 100 hour package: valid for six months
